✺ Identify
Identify the most effective strategies for YOU to carve out and protect time for self-care
You don't need another person telling you that self-care is important.
You know it in your bones.
And yet prioritizing that time,
let alone feeling rested or re-energized afterward,
seems out of reach…
I’ll show you a path to the self-care you need,
and the sense of balance and energy that follows.
Join me for this 1-hour introspective workshop
To see leadership and self-care from a new angle that can transform your relationship with both.
+ Get out of the weeds and have time to think, plan, and actually lead.
+ Feel confident that you’re doing the right things.
+ Quit stressing about work when you’re home or in “off time.”
+ Carve out time for meaningful rest and the activities you enjoy.
+ Inspire and empower wellbeing practices for others, and watch your team’s performance take off.
Because self-care, like leadership, isn’t just something you DO.
It’s an internal state to be activated.
It starts on the inside.
In case we haven’t met yet…
Hi! I’m Jen 👋
I’m a former HR professional who fell in love with the coaching process after I received coaching, myself.
Because I’ve been where you are.
I was out of balance and feeling it, big time. I was overwhelmed, frustrated, and at a breaking point.
I didn’t arrive at that imbalance overnight. It was a gradual process.
I thought the problem was outside of me.
I felt a sense of purpose in my work. I even enjoyed aspects of it. There was always some logical need to keep up the work surge a little longer.
When that kept happening, I thought maybe it was the job I was in, my unreasonable manager, or the company’s culture that was the problem. If I could just find the right job this would all go away.
So I changed jobs. I moved companies. Each time there was a sort of honeymoon period, but the same dynamics would come right back around.
Eventually, I wasn’t only working nights and weekends. I started my days earlier and earlier, getting less sleep and skipping my morning workout.
I was weary. I could hold up the mask of happy, easy-going Jen at work, but that all came off as soon as I got home. I had nothing left over for life outside of work.
I didn’t believe there was another way. I felt the weight of responsibility for the people I served and took it all very personally. I believed I was doing what I had to do.
Then I worked with a coach. The clarity, alignment, and empowerment I found through coaching showed me that another way really was possible.
And now, as a leadership and work-life balance coach, I can guide you on that path back to balance, clarity, and resilience.

Yes! I'd love to have you there live so you can really engage with the topic, AND I know calendars are full. If you're not able to block out this time, I'll be sending a recording after the workshop to everyone who registers.

YES!
While we often use the word "leader" to refer to formal positions or a subset of job titles, every single one of us can be a leader, wherever we are. If you identify with that statement, please come on in!
-
The virtual meeting platform struggles are real!
My understanding is that you shouldn't need to log in to register, and you shouldn't need to download the app to attend. Please tell me if you're finding otherwise so I can learn and help troubleshoot!

Sounds like you've also developed an allergic reation to "free webinar." I know it can be code for a fast-talking sales pitch.
I value transparency, so I want to be up front that I will be telling you about an upcoming group coaching opportunity called Sustainable Leader: a Community of Practice, including how you can learn more about it.
AND my primary goal is to share a framework for integrating self-care into your everyday that might give you new and more effective ways to practice on your own if you choose not to participate in the group.

This is going to be a workshop-style webinar. What I mean by that is I'll be on camera and sharing content and prompts with you. You won't be on camera nor expected to speak.
You'll get the most out of the time if you engage with the prompts and answer the questions for yourself. I'll also invite you - without obligation - to share in the chat for anyone who that interaction supports.
As time allows at the end, anyone who wants to turn on their camera or unmute at the end of the workshop to ask questions will be welcome.
-
I'm putting the finishing touches on a page where you can learn all about it. I'll post a link here as soon as it's ready, but feel free to email me in the meantime with any specific questions you'd like answered. You can reach me at jen@jjbcoaching.com.
